The University offers services and support to promote staff health and wellbeing. Staff can access counselling through the following ways.
Employee Assistance Program
The University of Melbourne Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential, personal, and professional development resources to all employees and their immediate family members. This service can assist with a wide range of situations and issues, and aims to help individuals develop positive strategies to resolve their concerns.
The program is delivered by an external provider, Benestar. The EAP can be accessed by telephone, online, via the BeneHub app, or face-to-face.

Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS also provide free, confidential, short-term counselling for staff.
