The University of Melbourne has an established practice for allowing wedding photography on University grounds and admission will not be granted without a permit. The number of permits issued is limited to a maximum of six 1.5-hour photography sessions per day on Saturdays and Sundays between 9am and 6pm only (one permit per 1.5 hour).
No permits will be issued for weekdays, the University Open Day or days when major University events are scheduled. The University reserves the right to add other dates as necessary to the list of dates when permits will not be issued.
In 2018, permits will NOT be issued for the following dates: weekdays, Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 August.
The Venue Management Office will endeavour to confirm the availability of your requested time slot within one week.Once the time slot has been reserved an email will be sent to the email address registered in this form, with instructions of how to pay for the permit online. Once payment has been received, a permit will be emailed within three days.
