External Examinations

The University of Melbourne offers a fee-based examinations service to students from other institutions as part of their study program or professional accreditations.

Students and institutions who are keen to learn more are invited to use the online contact forms or to email Exams-Team@unimelb.edu.au with their enquiries.

When can I sit my exams?

In November and June examination sessions are held in the morning and the afternoon, however examination sessions are scheduled across the year, including outside of hours, in response to client demand, and are subject to venue and resource availability and confirmation in writing that the session is proceeding.

How do I pay for my examination?

Payments can be made using the University’s eCart online payment system.

Do you host online examinations?

Examinations can be online or paper-based, or  some combination, however technological specifications required to deliver the examination must be within the standards supported by the University of Melbourne’s standard operating environment. The University of Melbourne accepts no responsibility for technology-based examinations that cannot be delivered because of technological problems.

Please include a stamped, addressed, prepaid envelope or courier satchel, as return postage is NOT included.
