- Winter utility bills can be expensive. Students receiving Centrelink payments can claim winter energy concessions and the Clean Energy Advance to keep costs down.
- Centrelink study payments such as Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY have changed, allowing students more freedom to study.
- Not all Masters courses are approved for Centrelink study payments in 2012. Check our list of approved courses. Even if the course is not approved, a benefit may still be payable if a minor course (such as a graduate diploma) is embedded within the structure of the Masters course.
- Graduate Access Scholarships are now available through the Scholarships office.
- Students in the Faculty of Science and School of Medicine who are travelling as part of their course can apply for the John and Betty McCreery Travelling Scholarship. Applications close on 25 May.
