The Under 18 Supervision Program fee consists of:
Registration fee:
AUD$150
Supervision fee:
AUD$8 per night that a student will be enrolled in the Under 18 Supervision Program.
- property within 5km of campus: AUD$60
- property between 5km and 10km of campus: AUD$90
- property between 10km and 15km of campus: AUD$120
- property between 15km and 20km of campus: AUD$150

The total Under 18 Supervision Program fee is payable in advance.

Your Under 18 Supervision Program fee
Please note that the results of the Fee Calculator are indicative only. The Under 18 Supervision Program fee does not include accommodation and related expenses. Students and their families will need to contact housing providers directly to apply for accommodation. Any leases or other agreement relating to housing (financial or otherwise) are strictly between the student and the housing provider.
Refunds
If a student enrols in the Under 18 Supervision Program and subsequently wishes to withdraw, they must notify the Under 18 Program Coordinator in writing. A full refund minus the registration fee (AUD$150) and assessment fee if applicable will be made if written notification of withdrawal is received by the Under 18 Program Coordinator before the start of care arrangements. After this date, unused portions of the supervision fee will be refunded. Please note that students are required to give ten working days notice if they are ceasing their supervision program arrangements
If a student who has been issued with a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW) by the University of Melbourne withdraws from the Under 18 Supervision Program, the University will cancel the CAAW and notify DIAC that these care arrangements have ceased.
