External Examinations

Students from tertiary institutions worldwide can undertake studies as an external or off-campus student whilst residing in Melbourne. Some students require formal assessment as part of their study program or for professional accreditation.

The University of Melbourne can arrange and conduct examinations for students as requested by their home institution. The University of Melbourne has an extensive range of examination venues on its main Parkville campus including halls, lecture theatres and tutorial rooms. It can arrange an examination for one student or 50 to 100 students. The University offers a rate for the service, which covers examination supervision, venue hire, administration, postage for the return of examination scripts and fax charges.
