Expressions - Colours of India

This exhibition of children’s art from the Cathedral High School, Central School, St Francis High School and the National Play Group, was curatored and sponsored by Ethos Art Gallery in Bangalore, India, and The Early Learning Centre.

The Expressions: Colours of India exhibition was first presented in Australia at ArtPlay to coincide with an India-Australia cross cultural project entitled Cross Hatched, which was coordinated by Australian artist Sandra Bowkett and Indian community arts facilitator, Minhazz Majumdar. The project brought scroll singer and painter Montu Chitrakar to Australia for a series of artists residencies, including one at The Early Learning Centre.
